Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to manage the content of your web site using simple point 'n' click actions. Right-click contextual menus offer fast access to various file management options, whereas handy drag 'n' drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your personal computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to zip and unpack files with ease too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your personal computer. The integrated drag-and-drop functionality will enable you to easily move files between your desktop computer and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your personal computer and then drag it over to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop. Additionally, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one single click of the mouse. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, preview the contents of a file or change its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It does work stunningly fast - simply select the files you would like to pack and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a specified directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any external pieces of software in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually show up on the web. What's more, you will find several integrated file editors, which will grant you total authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more experienced individuals, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy users.
